FerusWolf species

Started on this before Christmas and forgot about it lol..

But it's a FerusWolf, a humanoid looking wolf with intelligence compared to that of greater apes like chimps, not as intelligent as people though. They are not werewolves as they are born like this. They are domesticated by humans and are used for transportation, milk and their underfur can be spun into yarn for clothing.

Both sexes look alike. Unlike most wolf-like anthros the females don't have a womanly figure. They are more slight in build then males and have rows of tits like normal wolves do. The males are bigger and grow beards. Females reproduce every two years with one litter of 2-4 pups.

FerusWolves rarely stand fully upright(only when they are wary of something or trying to look threatening) They usually slouch or go about on four legs. They have longer front legs then humans do in proportion to body size.

They are favorite mounts for humans and enjoy hunts with their partners. They are animals that are loyal to one person, which makes them great for protection.

They vocalize like wolves do but on a more advanced level.

They come in a wide range of colors like North American Grey wolves do but albinism also exists. Only albino wolves can have blue eyes.
