I won this guy off of UK ebay and been googling to find more info on these guys. I'm aware of the tv series plushies and the figurines(which I can never afford) but never knew there was plushies from the original film, Watership Down. One of my fav movies.

Does anybody have any info on these guys? There is barely anything on them as far as I can find. He's a Chad Valley plushie. I only know of Hazel and Fiver existing and probably Kehar. Are there others? I'm keeping my eyes peeled because I want the other rabbits. Does anybody else here have them?(If so are you willing to sell??!) Especially aimed at UK folks since I believe these were never made in the US.... I think we only have dvd's and a few books.

Figured I'd post a picture since I know there are other fans and barely anything on these guys.. Might as well bring them to light!

I have a Chad Valley 'Fiver' from Watership down and have been trying to find out more information about them. They did come out along with the Movie, I bought mine from very first 'The Entertainer' toy store in 1981

I have been considering selling him as I am slowly down sizing all the 'extras' I have in my home. My Fiver still has his tag around his neck, has never been played with but is not in a box.

Does anyone have any idea of his value

They are going for a high price in the US. I just paid 600 US dollars for four of the original ones and am looking for BIGWIG, from the 1978 plush collection and will pay 150 for him.

I think it was just a run off and not related to the movie or the series? chad valley are known to take their own toy ideas from books etc. (I don't think they have been known to collaborate with other big names). I do remember seeing these a while back and they came with the watership down novel for children to read.

- So I think these are chad valleys own takes on the watership down characters from the book :)

If I find anything out about them, I shall let you know. :salute:

I've never even searched for Watership Down plushes before, but it would be cool to own one c:
I think it would be quite hard to get them these days, considering the movie is quite old and they probably don't make them anymore :c

I remember those
Dunno if there were a lot of rabbits made or not, but I DO remember them. Very cute. Those were the kind of plushie you got when you bought the DVD/video I think.

Actually maybe I'm making that up, getting it confused with Peter Rabbit plushies (I always wanted one and never got one! :cries:)that came with videos/merchandise. I DO remember seeing watership down rabbits for sale when I was growing up, but that would have been the 90s series.

Here's Chad Valley Kehar [link]
Here's Chad Valley Fiver [link]

A lot of 3 Chad Valley watership down plushes, that I can't see because I haven't registered with the website... so that could be anything

^ You've probably seen this video, the guy has various sizes of plushie, but I don't think they're the right edition they're looking for, but they're still watership down rabbits and still very cute, especially the larger ones

I hope this helped
